Suggest Treatment For Bulge In The Corner Of The Eye
I have a bulge in the leftmost corner of my left eye, it is irritating and I had thought it was a hair, and tried blinking it out, and it did not work, so I had proceeded to try to remove it , and as I lifted my eye lid, it was a yellow bulge in the corner of my eye. What i was doing at the moment was playing a video game, I believe it may be eye strain, but I ve never had this before, and I play games regularly, but not excessively.. I would like to find out if I need medical attention l, or if this is common, and what I can do to help it.
With your description, it seems to be STYE. There are oil glands in our eyelids, and their opening gets blocked by bacteria or dirt and causes infection inside the gland.
Apply warm, wet compresses for 5 to 10 minutes, 3-4 times a day. You may try Paracetamol 500 mg to ease out pain. If the stye does not break out within one day, please consult the local physician for help.
Please do not wear contact lenses until it is healed. Avoid playing video games presently.
Playing Video game may not be directly responsible, but long staring, forgetting to blink causes eye strain. Maintaining hygiene of the eyes by frequent eye wash is also important.
Best wishes for recovery
