I have had nerve pain in my legs arms hands and feet for 3 year now they say its caused by 3 buldging disk in my spine,I can barley fill my left foot and if stand to long my feet swell and pain is worse then ever ,I have a limp when I walk and can only walk so far along .I cant sleep on my side because the pain is unbarble it fills like im stuffing my feet in a tight shoe and my legs begin to num and sharp pain get worse
Noted your history related to bulging discs at spine and causing the symptoms of pains in legs and hands, left foot problem about sensitivity, walking and so on. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Consult a Neurosurgeon for clinical evaluation, examination and correlation with MRI reports, EMG and so on. Get the relevant blood tests. If the Neurosurgeon is of opinion that surgery may help then go for surgery and you will be fine, your need for medication will reduce and you may improve well with proper and guided physiotherapy. Go for these.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
