Suggest Treatment For Bulging Veins On The Forehead
My husband has veins bulging on both sides of his forehead. They are quite prominent. His pressure today was 130/88; averages 124/86. He did a lot of yard work yesterday and could be dehydrated because he loss 8 lbs during the course of the day. Your thoughts, please.
Your husband did a lot of yard work yesterday. So, during this workout, his body temperature went up, blood pressure, plus he got dehydrated with lots of fluids lost with sweating.
This increase in blood pressure is experienced as bulging veins in the forehead. He might have had he had toward the yard (down) for a long time.
He will be ok. Just keep hydrated. Keep monitoring his blood pressure but not after working, at rest better, record the results for reference. If found high, should follow up with your caring doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
