Suggest Treatment For Bump At The Base Of Penis Shaft

I have a bump on the base shaft of my penis. It is raised and looks like a skin tag. I have had it for approximately over 2 years now. I sometimes touch it to examine if it changes in size or if it has spread. I have seen no signs of it getting any bigger or spreading. Based on this, I believe it is a skin tag and I am wondering if I can get rid of it with the use of duct tape. Please help me with any knowledge you may have.

Hi,
Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here

from your medical history most probably you have a skin tag because it is single and is constant from 2 years
but it may also be a genital wart which is most commonly caused by an Sexually transmitted infection of Human papilloma virus (HPV) and you should not try to apply a duct tap at its base in order to get rid of it , as it may leads to further complications

finally i would strongly suggest you to see Dermatologist to further evaluate the condition and make sure it is a skin tag or wart

I hope it help
