Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a bump or lump the size of a nickel in the back of my left leg where I bend to walk. I first noticed it February 12 and thought it was a bug bite, it was red and sore. It is not that sore anymore and not red but the bump / lump is still there and is tender if I press on it. Today is March 16 a month later. what could it be and what type of Dr. should I see?

Well it could be probably backers cyst..or any other cyst...if its painful it means some infection is there,(inflammation) is going on.. Please you can see orthopedic surgeon or any general surgeon for further evaluation and proper management..
