If I was your treating physician I would have recommended for you to take antibiotic Ticarcillin and Clavulanate to get rid of infection. Take Ibuprofen for pain inflammation and bodyache. Keep a good hygiene and wound care is the key to heal it up. If you feel that the medicine is no more working for you, consult a general surgeon to see any foreign body in the wound, or to surgically remove the pus and debride (clean ) the wound.
