Suggest Treatment For Bump In Throat Area Near Uvula
When I look into a mirror I see a bump on my throat area, near my uvula, my throat is killing me and I used a OTC throat spray which numbs it for seconds then it goes back to hurting. I have sinus and its that time of year again but I have a major headache and I get head rushes constantly, my ears are tender but not red
Hello I appreciate your concern Looking at your description thus could be inflamed tonsil or enlarged adenoids
I would like further information to guide you better Your age sex and relevant medical history Since how long you have this problem
I would advise you to consult an ENT surgeon for physical check up and a battery of tests like CBC and throat swab culture You may require a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor
Meanwhile you should do gargling with warm saline water or antiseptic mouth wash Avoid cold drinks and ice creams Have lukewarm water to drink Avoid smoking You can do deep breathing exercises
Hope this answers your question Thanks and regards
