Hi,
You can't keep tolerating your husband's abuse. Kindly report it with the Police. Coming to the symptoms, the bump on your
scalp is a
thrombus or a blood clot. Mostly it resolves by itself. Your fever may be related to the
injury. The following are the alarming signs when they occur you should consult a doctor in person:
1) Rapidly increasing size of the bump
2) Excruciating pain at the site
3) High grade fever that doesn't come down
4) Any
loss of consciousness or seizure
You can relax for now as the fever is very low grade and the bump pains when you lower your head due to gravity pull. The following measures are recommended:
1) Warm compressor over the bump
2) NSAIDs like
Ibuprofen for pain relief
3) Keep checking your temperature
4) Drink more water and rest adequately
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
