Hi I have a bump that is more so under the skin located on my inner butt cheek next to my vagina . To the touch it feels like it s barely there but if you push down its a hard lump and the skin is darker in that little area on top of the lump , it doesn t hurt bleed or puss but it s been there over a week . At first it was skin colored what could it be
As per your query you have bump on lower buttocks which seems to be frictional heat generation and hair follicle infection.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cream mometasonefusidic acid as this is steroid antibiotic combination on the affected areas twice daily. Wear loose clothes. Avoid pinching and popping the area as can get further infected. Maintain complete hygiene and keep area little dry. Visit dermatologist once if symptoms keeps on persisting. Start treatment after complete examination and proper prescription.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari, Dentist
