Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have a oval/circular shaped bump under my skin. It seems exactly like a blister, but a little deeper under the skin than a regular blister. I have had it for around 4 years now and there is no pain. It just looks like an air bubble under my skin. It is larger than the size of a pea.
Hello and welcome to HCM, A painless circular bump under the skin appears to be a benign soft tissue lesion. Soft tissue tumor can arise from adipose tissue, fibrous tissue, vascular channels, etc. An aspiration cytology of the lesion will be helpful to know the site of origin and character of the lesion. After knowing the site and origin of the lesion, appropriate treatment can be instituted. Consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus treatment.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
