Suggest Treatment For Bump With Red Spot Behind Head
My daughter has a big bump with a red spot on the back of her head we were told. it s a collection of blood cells and not to worry. But if popped go straight to the hospital. Just need to know if I should seek further care or if it is just gonna go away.
Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
from your history it must be a hematoma ( blood clot) inside the sin. it will go away but may take 1-2 weeks. apply ice to it will have an soothing effect. if it pains can use analgesics.
Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards! Dr. Arunmozhi varman
