Suggest Treatment For Bumps Behind Ears

I have had hard bumps behind my ears for a few years now. I went to the doctor when I first noticed them and was informed that they are lymph nodes, they should go down after a while and was given pain killers.

Is there anything I should be worried about?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have bumps behind ears post auricular lymph node infection, acute mastoiditis, Post-auricular Lymphadenitis and dermoid cyst. I would suggest you not to worry about it. You should visit ENT Specialist once and get investigation done by FNAC Biopsy. Start treatment after proper examination. You should take proper course of antibiotic as well. Avoid touching or pricking bumps wit sharp object. You can go for incision and drainage as well.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get well Soon.
Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
