Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear Doctor, This is really embarrassing but I don t know why, but I constantly have bumps on my private area. At first I thought it was razor bumps, but I rarely shave and the bumps never go away. I believe one of the bumps is a cyst because it s the size of a cyst. I m not sure, can you please help me?
If it is a cyst that is present then it may need to be removed if it is giving you problems.
If this is not an option at this time then you can try applying a topical steroid cream to the area to reduce the inflammation, this can sometimes cause bumps. The use of anti inflammatory pain medication, even if there is no pain would also help eg naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam
I hope this helps
