Suggest Treatment For Bumps On The Head From Frequent Injury
Hi, I was a victim of domestic violence. I was beaten in my head often. I have been out of the situation for three months and where I was hit bumps and bruises formed. Though the bruised are gone the bumps are still there. Parts of my head literally look deformed. There are all still tender to the touch. I was wondering if these will ever go away? One is right above my eyebrow and I look like I have one horn, so I would like my head to return to normal at some point. Please and thank you!
Sorry for the situation you were in. Some of the bruising heals with scarring and that is what feels like a bump. Some of these go away, but if they have not gone away in a couple of months, they are likely to stay for a long time. Surgery can be considered to remove some of the more offensive-looking bumps, but you would first have some imaging done (ultrasound or CT) to determine the nature of the bumps.
All the best.
