Suggest Treatment For Burning And Itching Sensation While Treating Herpes
I am on acyclovir once daily for herpes 1 and 2 . I burn and itch and almost daily have problems for the past 5 months . I have been to doctor 3 times for herpes. He gave me a cream this last time Lidocaine it does nothing. I started melting the acyclovir in a 1/2 cup of water and applying to get some relief at first it helped now it s not. Now I feel like I am getting an infection help !!!

How long have you been on Acyclovir. Acyclovir has to be taken 5 times a day. Please go back to your physician and reconfirm. Also, you should apply ayclovir ointment on your skin and not dissolve the tablet and use. Thanks
