Suggest Treatment For Burning Pain In The Left Leg
i have pain in the left leg above my ankle. it is sharp and burning pain. I have had it on and off for more than two weeks. The doctor said that I have a scienric nerve and it goes down to my leg. who can I see other than my primary doctor for answers
Hi i do care for your concern. The history suggest more of sciatic nerve compression that arises in spinal chord and passes through hip bone. You have not mentioned your age. It is advisable to get an MRI done to find out the site of compression and involved disc if any. It is advisable to consult your orthopedician first to rule out disc related issues. mostly physiotherapy along with medications will help to reduce your pain. Hope i have answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask. Thank you.
