Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In Bladder Area And Back Pain

I ve always had UTIs growing up, Drs say it s because I m a diabetic. For months I ve had a burning sensation down there & mild pains just above that area & back pains. I got checked today for a UTI or bladder infection & it came back clear. I also got a Pap smear & tested for stds. It s hurting me again like a UTI. What could this be!?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of burning sensation in bladder area and back pain which is most probably due to all of the changes taking place in your body such as electrolyte imbalance or acid reflux . However, it could be due to an illness gastritis or IBS. The symptoms can also occur due to condition like UTI. I would suggest you to get up slowly and do not lie down right after eating , eat small meals or snacks often, try not to skip meals . If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days the consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe laxative , anaspas , omeprazole or antacid. You should eat cold food instead of hot, eat lot of fibrous food like fresh vegetables and fruits or ginger can sometimes help an upset stomach , also consult urologist for UTI.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
