Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In Wrist Due To A Injury

hi doctor, one of my friends in delhi has got injured with a coca cola bottle and got injured in her wrist and thumbs and fingers.about 25 days ago and she is feeling very little sense in her hand and some burning sensation in the area. doctor mathhew verghese of st. stefens hospital has advised her to take medicines(carbepamazine-100mg)),and if she not any improvement by the medicines in the next 5 days she will have to go for microscopic operation of the hands for the damaged nerves that is not in good working condition. she has recently tested her ncv"nerves conduction velocity" test.(may be i m writing the wrong spelling of the medicine but that medicine is for the treatment of epilepsy that i got to know from a medicine reference book). kindly suggest me the best possible treatment with the name of the treatment.
