Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation Of Chest And Stomach

I had taken enzocort for 45 days after my sinus surgery (polip) I had burning in my chest,stomach&body then I went 2 cardiology doctor I had ECG (abnormal ) 2d echo good , tmt (positive) & ct angio mild plaqueing & mild narrowing ( near 2 normal ). I am taking tab: metxl 25 & tonact 10 mg from last 2 month's

I have gone through your query regarding burning sensation of chest and abdomen, though you are taking enzocort for last 45 days.

As you had been operated for nasal polyp and taking this enzocort as to prevent recurrence of polyp, but this enzocort some times causes gastric irritation which results in hyper acidity and that can be felt by patient as burning in chest and abdomen.

You may manage it by-

1- Taking antacid orally.

2- Avoid spicy food.

3- Drink adequate fluid orally.

4- With concent of your treatnig doctor you may replace tab enzocort with steroidal nasal spray.
