Suggest Treatment For Burns On Tongue And In Mouth

Hi, I accidentally drank very hot water and landed with a burnt tongue and the entire area below it. Its been 24 hrs and all the skin from below the tongue has peeled out naturally. However, the below the tongue area is swollen and I am having some pain, not much, in my throat and ear.

Do I need to see a doctor or will be be healed back on its own back to like it was?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The burns over the tongue and the floor of the mouth will take 48-72 hours to heal. So If i am your treating doctor, I would have suggested you to take topical anesthetic and analgesics like lignocaine and choline salicylate. Consume bland diet. Do saline gargling. The pain in the throat and ear can be a radiating pain from the ulcer by the burn. You can take systemic analgesics like diclofenac for the pain. If the symptoms does not subside in 3 days, consult a oral physician immediately.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
