Suggest Treatment For Bursitis In The Hip And Degenerative Joint Disease
I have been taking oxybutynin 10mg at hs for approx. 3 years. I also have bursitis in my right hip and degenerative joint disease in l1-l4. I was on some heavy duty meds when I first started the oxybutynin, but became confused and having difficulty with memory. I stopped the other medications and now take naproxen 200 mg at bedtime with the oxybutynin. Recently I added Cal citrate 600 D3 x2 twice daily. I had a bone density test recently and the calcitrate was ordered by my primary care doctor, I have been having difficulty sleeping and when I do fall asleep I have been waking up and seeing things like spiders. Could the medications I have been taking cause this or should I not take them altogether at bedtime. Please advise Thank you

Suggest Treatment For Bursitis In The Hip And Degenerative Joint Disease
Hello, Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
