Suggest Treatment For Burst Blisters On Legs With Alzheimer S

My 83 year old mother who has Alzheimer s , lives in a care home. She is being treated with hydromorphone, and Xarelto, for a DVT in her left leg. Her leg was/is blue and cold, and she also has developed numerous blisters some of which have burst and the skin peeled,. Her toes appear blue/black.....and we are awaiting a Dr. to come and see her as her GP is away on vacation since prescribing the above medications. She is now 4 days unseen, and 3days since the blisters appeared.

Hi.
As per your case history you may be having purple rash or vasculitis due to dvt.
My treatment advice is -
1. If toe is turning black in colour it may be a gangrene. It is an emergency condition, so show to a surgeon as soon as possible.
2. If it is just bluish then it might be purpuric rash and vasculitis lesions. In both cases you need to apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily.
3. Tab vitamin c 500mg once at night will help in cure.

It is better to consult a dermatologist for perfect diagnosis and treatment.

Thanks.
