Suggest Treatment For Calcified Knots On Hip
s diagnosed with calcified knots on each hip during X-ray evaluation by the emergency room ortho dr. following a vehicular accident months ago when my seatbelt caused a crack in the crest of my left hip. I have had RA for 50 yrs and am now 72 yrs with many successful surgeries behind me such as TKR R&L, not on hips yet. Please explain to me what you can about calcified knots. They are not causing pain but seem bigger than lemons and increasing in size. I am now only 5'2" and about 120 lbs at most. Thank you.

if they are not causing any problem inmy opinion noneed of any treatment. you can take opinion of orthopaedic surgeon for advise on need toremove the nodes to keepwatch and have a reiveu after sixmonths.

Such calcification deposited in any body tissue if this was damaged pathologically or trauma but this is only happens when healing was completed in other word this is sign of healed lesion and nothing else, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
