I have one tiny canker sore like thing on the inside of my labia minora... it has been there for about a week and I have been tested for STDS and come back negative about a month ago. I m also in a long term relationship. It s not super painful unless touched. What could it be?

Hi,

Canker sore over vulva could be due to many reasons. Apthous ulcer, Behcet's disease, Crohn's disease, Lipschut's ulcer and a STI chancroid. Different modes of treatment for each condition. So the diagnosis is very important. Regarding Tests for STIs - STIs are more than 30 in numbers. All are not having blood test. So blood tests can not rule out all STIs. Some need smear test. Moreover blood tsets have window period. They will show negative even in the presence of an infection, if tested during widow period. So consult a Dermato-Venereologist and get well soon.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
