Suggest Treatment For Canker Sore Near Anus And Clitoris
Hi a few weeks ago I noticed what looked like one canker sore near my anal area it went away after a week or so but now I have noticed a few days ago a canker sore on the outer area of my clitotis. It is very painful and sometimes bleeds when I take off my underwear to use the restroom accompanied with darker than usual urine. What could this be and how may I go about treating it. I m miserable.
Based on the history you have shared, it can be to herpes or any other STD infection so TORCH screening should be done to rule out syphilis chancre etc though it's usually painless but painful lesions can be present with herpes or fungal infections. A dermatologist review may be needed. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be helpful for pain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
