General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the steroids have worsened the clinical condition with excess vomiting induced by acute gastritis condition. My guidelines at present:
- Tablet Ondansetron (4 mg) with sips of water twice a day
- Tablet Dexrabeprazole (20 mg) twice a day on empty stomach
- Gluten free diet
- Plenty of liquids in sessions
- Control of hypothyroid disorder with supplement of Eltroxin on empty stomach in morning
- Anti-inflammatory medications with serratiopeptidase
- Antacid syrup as mylanta or else

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
