Suggest Treatment For Cellulitis In The Maxillary Area

I was diagnosed with cellulitis on my left maxillary area march 1st. I took the clindamycin 300mg, tid, for 10 days. The heaviness/dull ache/fever cleared up until today 3/16. So is it back to the doctor time, and if so, what other treatment is there? Thank you for your time. Mrs. Regnier

Thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

You have cellulitis problem and you take clindamycin drugs orally for 10 days.

After taking this oral antibiotics if problems are increase like high grade fever, more pain..etc than you have to take antibiotics by intravenous rout.

In diabetes more chance of cellulitis so Chek your blood sugar level also.
During taking oral antibiotics chek that your symptoms are increase or decrease.

High fever more pain and swelling than immediately contact a doctor.

Cellulitis can spread infection in other part of body so take proper antibiotic course.
Take proper rest.
Try to moist your skin over cellulitis so it can't spread and cracked.

Wish you a good health.
Take care.
Thanks.
