Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with cellulitis and it is very painful. Have had an MRI W/W-O contrast dye. Does not show any blood clots or abscess. After one week of antibiotics, pain meds and heparin injections, it is not feeling very much improvement. I am home now and still in much pain. Should I be concerned? My family DR will come to make a home viisit on Monday.
it is inflammation of cells.. no MRI is indicated it can be clinically diagnosed. generally it is effected by streptococci. choice is penicillin amoxicillin cloxacilin cephalexin are reasonable choice of antibiotic.
