Suggest Treatment For Cervical Polyp

I have a small tongue like thing hanging from inside my vagina. I assume it s my hymen because it doesn t have any feeling in it, is there a way to get this removed and or will it cause future problems for me? ((I m 18 years old and have active sex))

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Small tongue like projection hanging inside vagina might not be hymen. It must be arising from cervix and it might be 'cervical polyp'. It just needs to get explored to confirm that it is arising out of cervix.
Treatment consists of simple removal of the polyp and prognosis is generally good. It does not affect your sexual life or cause problems in future.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for evaluation and management in this regard.
