Suggest Treatment For Cervical Spondylolysis

my uncle is suffering from major cervical spondylolysis , we have consulted lot of doctors in india but every dr. has his own views, can u please tell me how is dr yogesh k pithwa, age - 51, height - 160cm, weight - 80kg, problem - cervical spondylolysis

I am sorry to hear about your uncle suffering from neck pain related to cervical spondylolysis. Another name for Cervical Spondylolysis is osteoarthritis of the neck. In most cases the best option for treatment is pain control. The arthritis can not be reversed though if the arthritis is impinging or hitting a nerve may need additional surgery. In my practice I would have him start arthritis medication like ibuprofen and if no improvement the proceed with CT scan or MRI of the neck.
