MVA accident in 2012 rear ended causing multiple disc herniations, sublaxations etc... Aug 2013 had posterior discectomy fusion C3-C7 since this sx Ive had continued swelling bilateral neck into shoulders and down through shoulder blades have a large knot in muscle at neck and shoulder area with pain and green sutures have worked out of incision post op Ive had ct scan and mri they show no deep pocket infections and my surgeon told me to see a plastic surgeon for a scar revision because my body is rejecting the suture material. Problem is Ive contacted 2 plastic surgeons and they neither will do this type of scar revision and both asked why my surgeon isn t doing the revision. My pcp gave me Celebrex and baclofen and Ive seen a pain management dr and he recommends radiofrequency neurotomy so I had the test procedure done her did T1 through T6 and since then the cervical swelling has increased and now I can hardly turn my head from side to side the pain is so bad I cant concentrate or focus. Ive called the surgeon and pain mgnt and the staff says to make an appointment. Im at my wits end I don t understand why im have such an awfull time recovery from this sx can anyone offer advise
