Suggest Treatment For Chalazion On The Right Eye Lid
I have a chalazion on my right eye lid. I have gotten the surgery already on the back of my eyelid, it was not successful because it was very hardened and the doctor couldn t scoop anything out. I applied hot compression after the surgery not very consistent but I did do it. The chalazion still remains as a pimple figure. I use witch hazel to rub on it and hot compression now and it jus gets red. What can I do to make it go away? I ve had it almost a year now
Please provide a high resolution photo of affected eye If you are told that it is a CHALAZION then what medication u are taking right now? CHALAZION is a lump in the upper or lower eyelid caused by inflammation of a gland of the lid.It may be soft and fluid filled or firmer .It is also referred to as a meibomian cyst ,tarsal cyst or conjunctival granuloma.so first do a conservative treatment like clean lids three times a day and give worm compress everyday. This hot compression can melt the lipid secreations ,there by encourageing resolution of the ductal blockage and facilitating the drainage of sebum.so give compression 4 times a day .Use a baby shampoo to clean lids Use Ocusoft cream in lids.Take Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day upto seven days.Use a tropical steroids drop 3 times a day.First u do it then we will go to next step.
