Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion And Cough

my son is 6 years old and has been congested with chesty cough but no temperature and not behaving ill. He was bouncing on the trampoline and I noticed he began to sound weazy. He stopped bouncing and was just lying. He started to cough and I asked him to come off. he then started wretching and proceeded to be sick. Could this have been trampolining within half hour of eating or brought on by coughing first. Should I hold him off school? He s been fine since and still not behaving poorly. He says that he accidently breathed in a bit of dust into his mouth when he lay on the bottom of the trampoline.
