Good Evening, I have an almost 7 yr old son who is congested tonight. I don t have a liquid decongestant that I d normally give him but I do have a 10 mg tablet of Phenylephrine HCI .... hes 66 lbs and I think he can take the pill as it s very small. I never give him anything for adults but hes frustrated not being able to breathe. thanks for your advice!
hello, thank you for your query there is no problem with this dose..for this age group and weight you can give phenylephrine HCL tab 10mg 4-6 hourly. i should advise you to consult your paediatrician too.\hope this will help you. regards.
