Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion In An Autistic Child
My Child 11 years of age, is a non-verbal autistic child, has been diagnosed with congestion in the chest. Was coughing recurrently. After nebulizing him with Asthalin repsules, doc gave him Asthalin syrup, 7.5 ml for 3 times a day. There is slight relief now. Is the treatment on the right path.

Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion In An Autistic Child
Hello, It may be due to Lower respiratory tract infection. For further assessment you may require complete hemogram, chest X Ray after pediatrician consultation. You may require antibiotics after consultation. Continue nebulization as advised. Take hygienic food and water. Keep him hydrated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further... Regards, Dr Shyam Kale Family and general physician
