My name is abdi. I have few queries today my brother 17 years I had a motorbike accident three weeks ago He suffered severe head injury and damage to the brain. He currently sedated but he suffer bad chest infection and is not making sign of improvement in term of his breathing after been giving antibiotics.

Check if has sustained rib fractures and hemothorax(Collection of bloody do in pleural spaces)...If so,Intercostal tube insertion and draining out the possible source of infection which may be the collection will help in resolving the infection...Culture sensitivity report of drained fluid may help in choosing the right antibiotic
