Suggest Treatment For Chest Infection

My 91 year old mother is having pain in the bones in her chest. She has had a CT scan and the only thing they see is infection. She is taking a pain pill and steroid pills for the infection. She does not seem to be getting better. I took her to the emergency room on Tuesday. This is when they gave her the diagnosis and the medication. What else can I do.
