Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Breathlessness Due To An Injury

Hello. I was driving a bobcat clearing snow from our yard and at about 20km/hr i hit something bringing the machine to a dead stop. When it did my body lunged forwRd and i hit the crossbar with my chest knocking the wind out of me really bad. For the last three days the pain has gotten worse in that area(pectoral area) and hurts to breath in deep. And hurts to touch any of that area.Would it most likely be just bruised or could it be more serious,Damon YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi Damon,

I am sorry for the accident you went through.

As the pain is getting worse, I highly advise to run to ER or see your physician as you need further tests to determine the right cause like chest-X-ray and physical examination.

Hope it helped! Wish fast recovery!
