Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Excessive Coughing
I am having various, mild physical chest pains which Kaiser thinks are sore chest muscles from excessive coughing. The coughing fits seem to be my involuntary failure to keep crumbs/ or spit out of my windpipe like I use too. I m 81 and mother developed a similar problem in her late 80s. General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
It is better to exclude lung problem by blood counts and X-ray chest rather than assuming chest pain due to hectic cough. Be under care of a chest specialist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
