Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Fainting

My daughter of 17 yrs has been suffering from chest pains and fainting for a while she was admitted to a&e yesterday as she had a bad attack and collapsed she was monitored for a few hours and they said they would do a heart scan as they were concerned as her resting heart rate fluctuated between 120-137 and her resp went over 30 if she just sat up, after speaking to her paediatrician they said she had said no to the scan and to send her home......... which they did,

I can understand your concern.
Chest pain with fainting episodes needs evaluation to rule out cardiac and brain related causes.
So better to consult doctor and get done
1. Ecg and 2d echo to rule out cardiac cause especially valvular heart diseases.
2. MRI brain to rule out central nervous system (CNS) pathology.
If both are normal then she might be having stress, tension and anxiety related symptoms.
But first rule out cardiac and brain related causes.
