Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Shortness Of Breath

Hi, my mom is having chest pain, and I want to know what I can do to help her. She says that she feels pressure and a hardship to breath, though her pain is mild and it is on and off. We will be going to the doctors in a week, but I want to know if there is anything I should do now to help her?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Chest tightness, breathing difficulty, chest pain etc are classical symptoms of heart diseases.
So we should first identify the cause for her symptoms and then start appropriate treatment.
Cardiac drugs are not available over the counter. So you should first consult doctor.
Meanwhile you can ask her to avoid exertion, take proper rest and avoid stress and tension.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your mother. Thanks.
