Suggest Treatment For Chills, Sweats And Migraine For A 20-year-old
my daughter is out of state doing missions, 20 yrs old with history of kidney functioning at 70% on one, 30% on other. She has past history of migraines, she called with chills, sweats, migraine and a sore spot on the left side just below her ribs (hurts when she coughs or laughs) and her tongue is white. She did have bed rest for the last two days and feels better, just now calling me with symptoms.
She should get a chest X-ray to rule out lower respiratory tract infection. Blood counts and inflammatory markers should be done as well. In case of any discrepancy, she may need antibiotics like Azithromycin, anti histamines like Cetirizine as well as analgesics like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
