yes thank you very much..Its my father he is 86 and is having trouble when he eats anything. He chokes on what ever he eats and it with everything. He dose still have his tonsils. He also has bone morrow failure. and anemic. and is being treated for that..

Frailty may be another potential cause. Having an acute condition may also impair it (an infection for example).
Your father should be examined by either his primary care physician or a neurologist for proper assessment. If his disorder can be treated (Parkinson's disease, for example) then his swallowing may improve. Otherwise other feeding options will have to be considered (nasogastric tube feeding or gastrostomy).
