Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been attending a pain clinic for over ten years for chronic pain. i was prescribed percocet and soma which worked well and have been able to continue work. Recently, the nurse at the pain clinic said that they could no longer prescribe soma if I was getting percocet. I ve tried flexural and robaxin as well as baclafen but they do not work as well in controlling spasms especially at night. Can I ask my primary care doctor to prescribe the soma?
all chronic body pains are self limiting , you should not take nsaids for longer period it will affect your kidney , better avoid and use soma when you have sever pain which it restrict your daily activity
