General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a neuropathic pain as in sciatica. As first-line management, you can take analgesics like gabapentin for pain relief. If symptoms persist you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated. In severe cases, you can opt for a steroid injection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
