Suggest Treatment For Chronic Constipation And Abdominal Discomfort
Chronic constipation usually controlled with diet, Mag citrate when needed. constipation now going on for four days mag only caused watery stool. now unable to eat or drink, abdominal discomfort, very lethargic and pale. Go to ER or wait to see his MD in the morning at his scheduled appointment?
You should take: - Mag citrate again - Take laxatives candies containing senna until you get a bowel movement - Increase water intake - Take lactulose or other stool softeners - Take psyllium or plum supplement as fiber supplement to induce bowel movement. - Can apply anal enema
If not success, then, go to ER if this abdominal discomfort is unbearable to you.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
