Suggest Treatment For Chronic Cough With Phlegm

at 7 yrs I was off school for 6 mths coughing up copious amounts of mucous being upside down on back stairs to drain mucous that was the only treatment then and I was not expected to live must be hard to kill I m now nearly70 ive had to give up work spend my day coughing and spitting not good if one has a social image which ive not I m EXHAUSTED belly breath swim a little on inhalers what can I do salt therapy was ok 5 yrs ago WHAT CAN I DO TO HAVE QUALITY OF LIFE Thank you ruth ps don t usually use a computer so not sure how this works

Hello,

It may be due to upper respiratory tract infection.

For that you may require complete hemogram, throat swab after ENT consultation.

You may require antibiotics after consultation.

Continue steam inhalation and Betadine gargle twice a day.

Take hygienic food and water
