Doctor. My 4 year old daughter suffering from continuous cough from the time she wake up morning. she is an asthma patient. cough started before two weeks and we consulted a doctor. he told us that it is not asthma related cough.it is because of cold only. But after four days we had to go there again because of uncontrollable cough. we nebulised for about two weeks since then as prescribed. she is also taking montelukast for a month. But today morning again she started coughing continuously. Why it happening in a very short interval??!!!
Hi, From history it seems that case of your daughter requires evaluation and investigations. Go for x-ray chest for having any infection or any changes in lung field, Total blood count like TC, DC, ESR, Eosinophil count etc. If require Montoux test. After report there will be some clue regarding her problem. Consult pediatrician and discuss about this. Ok and take care.
