Suggest Treatment For Chronic Diverticulitis Causing Swollen Ankle And Foot

my husband had a pulmonary embolism on the 23 dec 2012 spent 80 days in hospital he was 38 at the time 50 days in icu.despite clexane and warfarin he has chronic dvt.his leg still very swollen ankle and foot are purple and mottled . and has been since leaving hospital.we have just moved to qld from Sydney could you please tell me of a doctor whom specializes in chronic dvt? Still very lethargic and constant pain. thank you for your help

Regarding a request for specialist physician your experience with swelling legs which are painful and tender following a diagnosis of chronic dvt and pulmonary embolism despite taking clexane and warfarin I will suggest you see a vascular surgeon for further clinical assessment and definitive management
