Suggest Treatment For Chronic Headache , Facial Pain And Neck Pain

Good day Dr I am a 39 year old female who is suffering with a lot of facial and neck pain. About 6 weeks ago I had my right side wisdom tooth extracted, 3 days later I got a apsis on my gum which got very big and painful. I took antibiotics and after 2 weeks the swallowing subsided. Now I have a lot of pain in my left check, ear, neck and throat. I’m also suffering with constant headaches. I’m taking pain pills everyday for the pain but it seems to wear off after about 2 hours. Kind Regards Ms K

Thank you for choosing HCM

I think that you have a migraine. A migraine occurs due to a trigger factor like a cold, fever or sunlight. In your case, it seems that the extraction is causing the headache. The headache can also cause the cheek pain and the ear pain.

It is also possible that you have a throat infection. Here are a few things that you can do to help you:
Drink lots of water
Gargle with warm salt water
Take syrup Ascoril 15 ml 2 times a day to help you
Also, take Tablet Paracetamol 500 to help prevent the headache

Follow up after 3 days. All the best.
Hope this helps you
